Oh, the childhood memories... (just a quick sidenote, Mom is sitting next to me as I type this and I asked her how I should start this and we both thought the exact same thing at the exact same time! )...When we were growing up I remember that all of us kids always looked forward to St. Patrick's Day because we knew we would always find green milk in the refrigerator when we woke up, a special green treat in our lunches at school, and probably the most memorable part...a COMPLETELY green dinner! I personally remember some pretty funky meals such as green spaghetti, green bread, green salad, green sour cream enchiladas, green pizza with glowing radioactive pineapple chucks...and well the list just goes on and on...

Now that all us kids are grown up, it's finally my turn to carry on this green tradition! Now, this is not the first time I've made a green meal, but it is probably one of the strangest and grossest looking one I've made...Green Fettucini Alfredo with green chicken and shrimp, a green salad, and green dinner rolls. I can not explain how much everyone complained that I actually dyed the shrimp green but we all enjoyed the nostalgia as we reminisced about all the green meals of St. Patty's Day's Past!
